Are PDF documents taking up too much space on your disk? Sure, you can delete the ones you no longer need, but what about the other ones? Here’s a solution: you could shrink them down. The aptly named PDF Compressor is perfectly suited for this task. It can quickly compress a single PDF document or multiple PDF documents.

PDF Compressor should work just fine with any version of Microsoft’s Windows operating system. To get it to work on a Windows PC, you will have to complete a simple installation procedure: download an installer; run the downloaded installer; click through the instructions presented by a setup wizard.

The toolbar at the top of PDF Compressor’s interface features buttons to add PDF documents, add a folder that contains PDF documents, remove PDF documents, access a tutorial on how to use PDF Compressor, and close the application. The panel in the middle lists all the PDF documents you loaded into the application. And the panel down at the bottom allows you to play with several compression parameters and allows you to initiate the compression process.

Using PDF Compressor is a very simple 3-step process:
Step 1 – load one or multiple PDF documents into the application. You can do so by using the Add or Add Folder buttons. You can also do so by dragging and dropping PDFs onto PDF Compressor.
Step 2 – set up the compression parameters. Pick a DPI, select a quality level, choose the output location.
Step 3 – launch the Start button and wait for the compression process to complete. If the output location is not the original folder, said output location will be accessed when the compression process completes.

Please note that the free version of PDF Compressor will place a watermark on all the PDF documents it compresses. The watermark says “PDF Compressor Free Version.”

Pros

PDF Compressor should work with any Windows edition; installing it on a Windows PC is a simple task. There is nothing complicated about PDF Compressor’s interface. Using PDF Compressor is a simple 3-step process.

Cons

Trial limitations: watermark on compressed PDFs.
